Transformation Time-Frame: 18 months

Congratulations Rachael on your amazing transformation! 

Can you tell us in five minutes...

What you lost/gained during your transformation:

I gained a huge amount of knowledge about myself over the last 18 months.  It's been like a journey of getting to know myself.  I've peeled back the bad habits that were holding me back in the past and really taken time to improve each one of them.  

I used to over exercise and over eat - it was a constant battle in my mind.  "I've earnt it" was always my excuse for treating myself.  

I now have a much bigger appreciation for myself and my body.  

I have a confidence in myself that I can make the right decisions when it comes to food and exercise and no longer use food as emotional blackmail.  I've lost 10kgs of fat and gained 5.5% lean mass in the last 6 months in particular.

3x things that helped you get through:

Absolutely number one has to be my support from my husband, for any transformation you must have a solid support system.

Number two is my strong will not to go back to the person that I was.  My snap point was realising how horrible I was being to myself and I never want to feel like that again.

Number three, seeing progress along the way.  My first photo-shoot was a great way to celebrate my first 6 months and helped to keep me on track for the rest of the journey as I was able to see results inside and out.

The biggest lesson you learnt:

I just need to take a leap into the unknown and trust my gut sometimes.  

Nothing would have changed if I didn't commit to Metabolic Precision, and although I didn't know what was to come, I have learned that you need to take a leap and trust the journey!
