How much would you spend on a container full of common sense?

"Hey Trish, you have a great personality and lots of friends. Would you like to make a six-figure income selling weight-loss products?"

Me: "No thank you. I'm already in the business of teaching common sense."

Am I missing something here?

People have managed to get lean and healthy since before weight-loss products were invented.

So why is everyone relying on weight-loss products to do what EATING HEALTHY FOOD has always done?

"I don't sell weight-loss products. I teach common sense."

Myth-Buster #1:

There's nothing wrong with taking vitamins, but promoting them over whole foods perpetuates the belief that manufactured goods are a better option than natural goods.

Common Sense says:

"Always rely on whole foods first, and then top up with vitamins if you wish. But never the other way round."

Myth-Buster #2:

There's nothing wrong with taking protein powder, assuming that you are already consuming a first-class protein food source with most of your meals.

Common Sense says:

"Always rely on protein that needs to be chewed first, and then top up with protein powder if you wish. But never the other way round."

Myth-Buster #3:

There's nothing wrong with drinking blended fruits and vegetables, but don't forget our bodies were designed to break food down. You don't need an expensive infomercial machine to do what your body can do for free.

Common Sense says:

“Smoothies should be inserted into an already-wholesome diet. If all you ate was smoothies then you’d spend your life sitting on the toilet.

Eat wholesome, crunchy fruits and vegetables wherever possible, and then top up with smoothies if you wish. But never the other way round."

No crap products on my shelf. Just healthy food.

SO HOW DO YOU SELL COMMON SENSE WHEN YOU ARE COMPETING AGAINST SO MANY MAN-MADE MIRACLE FOODS?

Most people try to eat less of the good stuff, and then wonder why they're always hungry. Being hungry ALWAYS leads to eating more of the bad stuff.

Myth-Buster #4:

"I lost 13kgs using meal replacement shakes!"

"Wow, that's a big result. Congratulations."

"Thank you. I used to eat up to 4x chocolate bars a day, but ever since I replaced them with these drinks the weight has been falling off."

"Great job! But do you realise it wasn’t the shakes that made you lose weight?”

Common Sense says:

“Eating less chocolate bars will help you lose weight.”

That was a real conversation!

If there is junk in your kitchen, eventually you'll eat it. So get rid of it.

TRANSFORMATION TIP: MORE WHOLE FOOD + LESS JUNK FOOD = A LEANER AND HEALTHIER BODY.

If that's you, then congratulations.

I just saved you a staggering $600 a month on weight loss products.

Now go and spend it on common sense!

Trish
