Alicia Mortley: "I was sick of dieting."

Recently, a group of qualified Metabolic Precision Specialists completed the Ab Factory Ultimate Role Model Challenge. Not only did they put themselves in their clients' shoes and make themselves fully accountable to us, but their “big reveal” performances were also live-streamed in front of 10,000 members in the MP page. This is their story.

Transformation Specialist: Alicia Mortley

Business Name: Vitality Fitt

I completed the Role Model Challenge because I wanted my clients to look up to me as a role model. I wanted them to aspire to work just as hard and get the body that they’ve always dreamed about.

In particular I wanted to inspire females who have been in a similar situation to me - excessive exercise and constant dieting and not getting the results they wanted. I was in that cycle for almost 10 years and I was sick of doing all this work for very little return.

Not only was my body not changing, but I was constantly getting sick because I was burning myself out. My body was sore all the time because I wasn’t giving it any time to recover. And now not only do I feel confident in my skin, but I feel healthy and strong on the inside too.

Leash has had a very productive first year as a trainer

So I did this challenge because I wanted to teach females the right way to get the body of their dreams. The biggest thing that I’ve learnt over this journey though, is if you don’t have a goal or something scary to work towards, you will very easily lose focus in your training and eating.

Yep that’s correct, even us trainers need that carrot/blackmail to keep us on track with our transformation. During this challenge there have been times that I didn’t want to train or do food prep. But the blackmail and the constant support from the people closest to me helped me stay focused.

So, if that goal doesn’t scare you, you won’t fully commit to your transformation.

My advice is to choose a goal that scares you, and a find a trainer you resonate with to help you stay accountable.

Leash xoxo
