Congratulations Amy for completing another photo-shoot challenge with us!
Tell us, what was the best part of this journey?
The structure and accountability. The reward at the end is so important and creating habits and new routines that stick.
What did you struggle with the most on this journey, and how did you overcome it?
I would always eat last or when everything is done at home and when it was convenient. I learnt to make myself “STOP” and eat. All the other things can wait. And it only takes 10min to stuff your face.
(An example of Amy's food prep - a delicious healthy frittata)
What did you find the easiest?
I am a very organised and process driven person, so always having food prepped and at hand was not so hard for me.
Favourite motivational quote:
“Don’t limit your challenges, challenge your limits.”
What advice would you give to someone who resonates with your story and might be struggling?
Try not to overthink it. Take one step at a time and remember that it takes time to see and maintain the changes.
In bullet point form, list 3 ingredients that you feel are vital to a successful transformation?
- Believe in yourself, you are capable;
- Accountability - Get a “DAVE”….. shits you to death but gets results..lol; and
- Focus and a strong reason "why" you want to transform.
(She just keeps getting better with age - Amy's five-year progress)
What did you learn from this experience?
I leaned to trust the process. I didn’t at times and there were lots of emotional ups and downs. These became easier to deal with over time. It has helped me appreciate and understand the level of compliancy that it takes to lose the weight and change shape.
Chai lattes were making me fat!! (I know it sounds silly, but this one thing was one bad habit I had to let go of, but when I did, WOW things started moving in the right direction).
I know I can lead and coach my clients with more clarity and confidence, which in time will help my business grow. I can now understand and relate more with their highs, lows and struggles they may face during the process. If you don’t take responsibility for you and your journey, no one else will. If you want it then you need to bloody work for it. No other way!
MP is just the roadmap, you need to navigate it with help and accountability of a coach. I feel and look the best I have in years, I have learnt to not overthink it, just shut out the noise and get on with it.

Tell us something about yourself?
Again, I have no special story, we all lead diverse and different lives, kids, no kids, careers etc. I am a mum, I run my own business and have a part time job. I have found making my transformation a priority was key. I’m just a regular chick treading water in our crazy busy lives.
Anyone can do this if they choose. You either choose to do something, or you don’t.
